Job Duties:
- Develop and implement individualised education plans for students with special educational needs
- Teach a range of subjects to primary school students, adapting teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles
- Assess students' progress and provide feedback to parents and school management
- Collaborate with other teachers, teaching assistants, and support staff to create a supportive learning environment
- Participate in meetings with parents, school administrators, and external professionals to discuss student progress and development
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Specialist knowledge and experience in working with students with special educational needs
- Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum for primary education
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a primary school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual students
- Strong classroom management skills
- Knowledge of assessment and evaluation techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other specific learning difficulties
Working Conditions:
- Work hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
- Classroom-based teaching with occasional off-site meetings
- Collaboration with a diverse team of educators and support staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
