At this highly successful school, the SEND department is committed to providing exceptional support for our students. The department expertise in specific areas of need such as ASD, dyslexia, and SEMH, and they encourage combining these skills with subject specialisms.

The ideal candidate will:

Have experience working with students with special needs, particularly those with complex needs resulting from Adverse Childhood Experiences.

Hold a solid understanding of special educational needs, different learning styles, and strategies to support students with additional needs is necessary. Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices

Have flexibility and adaptability to accommodate the varying needs of students and respond to unexpected situations.

Hold strong organizational skills are important to effectively manage resources, maintain records, and ensure the smooth running of daily activities and interventions.

 

Pay rate is dependent on experience & qualifications

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
