What We’re Looking For:
- Experience or Interest in SEN: You may already have experience working with children with autism, ADHD, speech or language difficulties, Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities or Challenging Behaviour.
- Resilience & Adaptability: You’ll need to be flexible, adaptable, and able to handle changes in the daily routine with ease.
- Communication & Teamwork: Strong communication skills are essential—you’ll be liaising with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure the best outcomes for the children.
- Curriculum Knowledge: Ideally, you’ll have some understanding of the EYFS and/or KS1 curriculum and knowledge of strategies to engage pupils with complex needs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Relevant NVQ or equivalent qualifications are preferred.
- A good standard of English and Mathematics is preferred.
- Basic computer skills will be useful.
Requirements:
- Must reside in the UK and have the right to work here.
- An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
