SEN Learning Support Assistant in South Tyneside
Protocol Education is seeking compassionate, supportive, and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) with experience working with pupils either in small groups or on a one-to-one basis. We are currently recruiting for LSAs to work in schools based in Sunderland and surrounding areas.
If you have experience as a Teaching Assistant or a Learning Support Assistant and have supported children with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or provided general classroom support, we want to hear from you!
The ideal candidate will have:
- The ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- A passion for working with children with SEND
- A patient and empathetic approach
- Availability to start immediately
- Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant
Role description:
- Providing one-on-one support
- Facilitating engaging activities for pupils
- Assisting pupils in achieving their therapy targets
- Availability for at least three days per week
- Working collaboratively with the classroom teacher

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
