Exciting Opportunity for a SEN Learning Support Assistant in Gateshead
Protocol Education is currently seeking compassionate, supportive, and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) with experience working with students in small groups or on a one-to-one basis. We are looking for individuals to join our team and work in schools based in Sunderland and its surrounding areas.
If you have prior experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant and have provided support to students with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or offered general classroom support, we strongly encourage you to apply.
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualities:
- Strong team collaboration skills
- A genuine passion for working with students with SEND
- A patient and understanding approach
- Immediate availability to start
- Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant
Role description:
- Providing one-to-one support
- Delivering engaging activities for students
- Assisting students in achieving their therapy goals
- Availability for at least three days per week
- Collaborating closely with the classroom teacher

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
