An excellent opportunity has arisen for a HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) who is hardworking, ambitious, and inspiring.
Job Description:
- Monday – Friday, 8:15 – 4:00pm, term-time only
- Located in Kirklees, ideal location!
- Great public transport access!
The school works with a wide range of children whose ages vary from KS2 to KS4 in East Leeds with a very diverse community. They are looking for a warm, caring individual to add to their team.
The school is very lively and has a lot of room for personal development.
Job Role:
- You will be required to work with children who have complex needs.
- You will be supported and will be joining a well experienced team.
- The role requires a confident and patient individual who has competent behaviour management skills.
- You will work with groups of a maximum of 12 and a minimum of 6 students in a classroom.
Skills & Qualifications needed:
- Some experience of supporting students.
- NVQ HLTA - behaviour specialist or equivalent in Childcare is desirable.
- Ability to relate well to children.
- Working constructively as part of a team.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Current DBS on update service or be willing to purchase one.
Pay rate is dependent on experience & qualifications.
