At Protocol Education we are currently looking for a resilient and enthusiastic SEMH/ Behaviour Support workers to work full time in a well-established SEMH settings across West Yorkshire.

We have developed a fantastic reputation in the local area, and we’re looking for more high-quality Behaviour Support to work with these schools to positively impact the progress and attainment of their pupils.

About the role:

Our Behaviour Support duties can include:

  • Guide and monitor pupil progress to identify areas that require improvement.
  • Support the emotional, physical, and social development of pupils.
  • Prepare classrooms prior to lessons; they also clean up afterwards.
  • Help teachers in preparing materials that meet the development requirement of children.
  • Organise and supervise pupils during project and sporting activities.

 The ideal Behaviour Support applicant will have:

  • Ability to communicate clearly with Teachers and younger individuals.
  • Active listening skills.
  • Be able to create and maintain strong relationships with students.
  • Ability to create an encouraging learning environment for pupils.
  • Understanding and sensitivity towards children.
  • Excellent knowledge of lessons that pupils are required to learn in class.

Pay rate is dependent on experience & qualifications.
