Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students experiencing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and stress.
  • Assist in the implementation of mental health and well-being programs within the school.
  • Work closely with teachers, counselors, and external professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Help students develop coping strategies and resilience to manage their mental health effectively.
  • Foster a safe, non-judgmental space where students feel heard and supported.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Previous experience in mental health support, youth work, or similar roles is highly desirable.
  • Qualities: Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting young people’s mental health.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with students.
  • Adaptability: Ability to respond to the diverse needs of students and manage challenging situations effectively.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in mental health, counseling, or youth work are advantageous.
