Role Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated support to students with SEMH needs in a PRU setting
- Assist in the planning and delivery of individualized learning programs
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Promote social and emotional development through targeted interventions
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to implement effective strategies
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and reports as necessary
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs, preferably in a PRU or similar setting or from a care background.
- Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to working with challenging behaviours
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or support work (desirable but not essential)
