Position: SEMH Teacher

Contract: Full-time
Salary: £130 - £180 per day

The Role:
As a teacher in our SEMH school, you will play a vital role in supporting students who exhibit a range of behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties. This is a challenging but incredibly rewarding role that requires:
- Building strong, positive relationships with students who may have experienced trauma or difficulties in mainstream education.
- Delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that support both academic and emotional development.
- Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, including mental health professionals, teaching assistants, and external agencies, to provide tailored support.
- Implementing strategies to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour, fostering a safe and respectful learning environment.
What We Are Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with students who have SEMH needs, or in a similar setting.
- A positive, resilient attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A deep understanding of the impact of trauma and adverse childhood experiences on behaviour and learning.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a passion for helping students succeed both academically and personally.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
