Secondary Teaching Assistants

Protocol Education are working with schools throughout Salisbury and the surrounding areas to appoint Secondary Teaching Assistants for the new academic year.

Start: September 2024

Hours: Usually 08.30 – 15.30 (School dependent)

Employment Type: Both full and part time roles available

Working as a TA you Would:

-          Support specific students through their day to day school life

-          Support class teachers in the general delivery of the class

-          Work within the SEN and wider school staffing team

-          Understand various SEND and how to support these in the school environment

-          Strive to make the classroom and school an engaging environment

-          Understand and comply with all safeguarding polices and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children and young people in some capacity. You will be looking to grow as an educator and perhaps have desire to become a teacher in the future and looking to further your school and classroom development.

You will showcase strong communication and teamwork skills, the ability to form good working relationships with those you both work with and support, and show positivity and passion to the education of students.
