The Role:

As a Secondary English Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge students.
  • Teach across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and potentially Key Stage 5 (A-Level), depending on experience.
  • Foster a love of reading, writing, and critical analysis.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued.
  • Support and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop engaging curricula and innovative teaching practices.

About You:

We are seeking a passionate educator who:

  • Holds a degree in English or a related field and a teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS or equivalent).
  • Has experience teaching English at the secondary level, with a proven track record of student success.
  • Possesses excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Is enthusiastic, creative, and committed to continuous professional development.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
