Job Duties:
- Collaborate with the teacher to deliver engaging and effective lessons and educational activities.
- Assist with planning and preparing teaching materials, ensuring they meet the learning objectives.
- Provide individual support to students with additional learning needs, adapting teaching strategies to meet their specific needs.
- Supervise students during class and break times, maintaining a safe and positive learning environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable
- Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
Experience:
Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Thorough understanding of child development and learning processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Highly organised, with the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- First Aid certification.
- Additional training in Special Educational Needs (SEN) support.
Working Conditions:
This role involves working within a school environment, following school hours and term times. The candidate may also assist with extracurricular activities and events.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
