An excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain classroom experience in a variety of schools across Bristol. Equally, a great opportunities for experienced teachers to step away from the responsibilities from full time teaching, but stay in the classroom!

This role is for the enthusiastic and confident individual, with the ability to motivate and inspire students when covering for an absent teacher. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and supporting students in classrooms across the curriculum.

No qualifications needed. Strong communication skills are needed, and experience of working within a classroom setting is desired. 

You will:

  • Ensure the safety of students whilst in your care.
  • Deliver engaging pre planned lessons.
  • Follow and apply schools behaviour policy to maintain a safe learning environment.
  • Oversee class during teacher absence and ensure students remain engaged and complete work set.
  • Enjoy working with children and young people.
  • Can remain calm in stressful situations.
