We are seeking a Science Technician to join a well-regarded secondary school in Newcastle upon Tyne. The school is easily accessible via public transport and major road links, making it a convenient location for candidates across the city and surrounding areas.

The Role:

As a Science Technician, you will:

  • Prepare and maintain equipment and materials for science lessons.
  • Support teachers and students during practical experiments.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed in the lab.
  • Organise and manage stock levels of chemicals and equipment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a Science Technician or a background in laboratory work.
  • Knowledge of health and safety protocols in a lab environment.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • A keen interest in supporting science education.
