Job Opportunity: Science Teacher (Maternity Cover)

 Duration: September 2024 to December 2025

 Salary: £36, 745 to £40,100 (dependent on teacher scale and experience)

We are currently seeking a qualified and passionate Science Teacher to cover maternity leave from September 2024 to December 2025 at a prestigious girls' secondary school located in Wandsworth. The ideal candidate will be able to teach all three sciences to Key Stage 4 students and possess excellent classroom management skills.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons in Biology, Chemistry and Physics

Create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and promotes academic excellence

Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive and supportive learning atmosphere

Assess students progress, provide feedback, and track academic performance

Requirements:Qualified teacher status with the ability to teach all three sciences to KS4

Strong classroom management skills and experience in maintaing a positive learning environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents and colleagues

Availability for an interview as soon as possible is preferred
