We are seeking a dedicated and determined Science Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Shropshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher to make a significant impact in the classroom, inspiring students to explore and excel in science.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, tailored to a range of learning abilities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging curiosity and academic growth.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to support their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum planning and the wider school community.
- Uphold school policies and demonstrate a commitment to student success and well-being.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching science.
- Proven experience teaching science at the secondary level is highly desirable.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Local to the Shropshire area or able to commute reliably.
- A committed, determined, and professional approach to teaching and learning.
