Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Plan and differentiate lessons to cater to the needs of all students.
  • Provide ongoing assessment and feedback to students to track their progress.
  • Work closely with colleagues to share best practices and improve departmental teaching strategies.
  • Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and extra-curricular activities to support student development.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have a relevant Science teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
  • Be able to teach Science across multiple disciplines (Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
  • Possess excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
  • Be passionate about fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Be a team player who is keen to collaborate with colleagues.
