Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging science lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Assess and evaluate students' progress through regular tests and assignments
- Provide constructive feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in Science or related field
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Science
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Science or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Science
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and engage students
- Strong classroom management skills
- Good understanding of assessment and feedback methods
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Experience teaching in a secondary school setting
Working Conditions:
You will be working in a school environment, following the school term calendar. Regular working hours are expected, with occasional requirements for extracurricular activities or parents' evenings.
