Role and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective science lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students
  • Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
  • Foster a stimulating classroom environment that encourages student curiosity and enthusiasm for science
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum and participate in extracurricular activities

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education
  • Experience teaching science at the secondary level, preferably in a similar setting
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
