Job Description:
Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging science lessons for students
- Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing feedback and support
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum
- Participate in school events and meetings as required
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in Science or related field
Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Science or related field
Experience:
- Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary level
- Familiarity with the UK national curriculum
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Science subjects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Organisational and time-management abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Experience in extracurricular science activities or clubs
Working Conditions:
- Regular school hours, but may require additional hours for lesson planning and grading
- Classroom-based teaching with some opportunities for outdoor or practical lessons
- Collaborative work with other teachers and school staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
