Protocol Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated Religious Education (RE) Teacher to start in September 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons to students, encouraging them to explore and understand various religious beliefs, values, and traditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality RE lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and understanding of diverse religious perspectives.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
- Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Religious Education, Theology, or a related field.
- Experience teaching RE at secondary school level is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of various world religions and ethical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- The right to work in the UK.
- Has or is willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Demonstrated commitment to education and personal growth.
