Job Duties:

  • Supporting classroom teachers in delivering educational programmes
  • Assisting with the implementation of lesson plans
  • Providing one-on-one support to students with learning difficulties
  • Supervising students during activities and breaks
  • Assisting with classroom management and behaviour control
  • Preparing and organising educational materials
  • Assisting with assessments and maintaining student records

Required Qualifications:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Right to work in the UK

Education:

GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C or above)

Experience:

Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of child development and learning processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • First Aid certification
  • Training in safeguarding children

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a school environment with children aged 5-11. The hours are typically Monday to Friday during school hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
