Qualified Teaching Assistant

Protocol are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and facilitating an effective and positive learning environment for our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Classroom Support: Collaborate with lead teachers to assist in the implementation of lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Student Engagement: Work closely with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts and provide additional support as needed.
- Behaviour Management: Assist in maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment by implementing behaviour management strategies and promoting a respectful atmosphere.
- Resource Preparation: Prepare and organize teaching materials, resources, and equipment necessary for daily lessons.
- Assessment Support: Assist in the administration of assessments and help in the evaluation of student progress.
- Communication: Foster effective communication with both teachers and parents, providing regular updates on student performance and any relevant information.
- Inclusion Support: Collaborate with the special education team to ensure the successful inclusion of students with diverse learning needs.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Must have the relevant TA qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role is preferred.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, students, and parents.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to the needs of the classroom, displaying flexibility and a positive attitude.
- Patience: Demonstrated patience and understanding when working with students who may require additional support.
- Team Player: A strong team player who is willing to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the overall success of the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
