Job Duties:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching in Sociology and Criminology
  • Plan and prepare engaging lessons in line with the curriculum
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback on student work
  • Monitor and track student progress
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Sociology, Criminology or related field
  • Experience teaching Sociology and Criminology at secondary level

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the Sociology and Criminology curriculum

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with students of varying abilities

Working Conditions:

The role involves working full-time hours in a school setting, collaborating with colleagues and interacting with students on a daily basis.
