Protocol Education is excited to be recruiting a passionate and dedicated Religious Education (RE) Teacher for a school in Newcastle. If you’re enthusiastic about guiding students to explore beliefs, values, and ethics, this is your opportunity to make a real difference in young lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons for students at KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach KS5.
- Foster open-mindedness and respect for diverse perspectives and cultures.
- Develop creative and inclusive teaching strategies that encourage critical thinking and reflection.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote cross-curricular initiatives and enrichment activities.
About You:
- Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification in Religious Education or a related subject.
- Experience teaching RE at the secondary school level.
- A passion for promoting understanding, tolerance, and respect among students.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Committed to supporting students’ academic and personal development.
