About the Role:

  • Position: Maths Teacher

  • Contract Type: Full-time, [Permanent/Long-term Temporary]
  • Salary: £28,000 - £43,000 per annum (MPS/UPS), depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons that inspire and challenge students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential opportunities to teach Key Stage 5).
  • Use innovative teaching methods to promote mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure all students reach their potential.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages academic achievement.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through participation in departmental activities and extracurricular initiatives.

About You:
We are looking for a Maths Teacher who:

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students.
  • Is committed to raising standards and supporting student progress.
  • Has experience teaching in UK secondary schools (preferred but not essential for exceptional candidates).
