Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Humanities subjects
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design curriculum and educational programmes
  • Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Humanities or a related field
  • Proven experience teaching Humanities subjects at the secondary level

  • Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Humanities subjects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs
