Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging English lessons to students following the curriculum guidelines
  • Assess students' progress and provide feedback on their performance
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment to enhance students' learning experience
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support students' academic and personal development
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other school events as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England
  • Degree in English or related field
  • Knowledge of the national curriculum and teaching standards

Education:

Degree in English or related field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching English at secondary school level preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of English language and literature
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Organisational and time management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
