Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging English lessons to students
  • Evaluate and grade students' classwork, assignments, and papers
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and encourage student participation
  • Develop and implement educational activities and materials
  • Monitor and assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum
  • Participate in school events and meetings

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in English or related field
  • Proven experience in teaching English to secondary school students

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and teaching methods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Organisational and time-management skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience in working with diverse student populations
  • Additional language proficiency

Working Conditions:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
