Job Description:

As a Qualified English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English language education to students. Your primary role will involve planning and implementing engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to support their learning and development.

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver effective English language lessons to students
  • Assess student learning needs and develop appropriate teaching strategies
  • Provide regular feedback to students on their progress and areas for improvement
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English language curriculum
  • Participate in professional development activities to improve teaching skills

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Bachelor's degree in English or related field

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in teaching English language to students
  • Strong knowledge of English language and literature
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their potential

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or English Language Teaching
  • Experience working with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

You will be working in a school environment, following the academic calendar. The role may require some additional hours for lesson planning and assessment. You will collaborate with other teachers and school staff to create a positive and productive learning environment for students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
