Protocol Education are working with a Special Needs specilist school in Hemel Hempstead and are looking to appoint a Full-Time temp to perm SEN Early years Teacher.

This school supports children with Severe Learning difficulties to thrive in their education, with individualised lessons, developed in line with their care plan.

They beleive every child is an individual with their own strengths and needs, and positive relationships underpin the culture and curricullum at this school.

The school has high expectations to ensure all children receive a person centred, engaging and purposful education and enables them to achieve their full potential.

The Role:

  • Early Years SEN Teacher
  • Design and deliver purposeful resources and deliver these with the support of in-class Teaching Assistants
  • Responsability to manage in-class team of TA's

 

The Ideal Educator

  • Previous experience teaching children with Severe learning difficulties is an advantage but not essential
  • A strong individual with the ability to adjust their teaching style according to the needs of each child
  • Confidence to manage a team of in-class Teaching assistants, ensuring they are supporting their child to acheive
  • QTS qualified
  • EYFS experience
