Protocol Education is delighted to be working with a vibrant school in Newcastle, searching for an enthusiastic and creative Drama Teacher. If you have a passion for the performing arts and a talent for inspiring students to express themselves, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons to students across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach KS5 for suitable candidates.
- Encourage creativity, collaboration, and confidence through acting, directing, and performance projects.
- Organize and lead extracurricular activities, such as school productions, drama clubs, and competitions.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the arts curriculum and promote cross-curricular opportunities.
About You:
- Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification in Drama or Performing Arts.
- Experience teaching Drama within a school setting, ideally at secondary level.
- A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching, with the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Passionate about promoting the performing arts and fostering a positive learning environment.
