Job Duties:

  • Develop and deliver engaging Design Technology lessons to students
  • Prepare and maintain classroom materials and resources
  • Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall curriculum
  • Participate in school events and meetings as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Design Technology or related field
  • Experience in teaching Design Technology at the secondary level

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the Design Technology curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with diverse student populations
  • Participation in relevant professional development courses
