Protocol Education is working with a primary school in Hemel Hempstead who are looking to appoint a permenant Year 6 Qualified Teacher.
This role is for a January start and will entail full plan and prep responsabilities. You will be joining the school as a permanant member of staff and therefore will benefit from a pay to scale salary.
This Primary School was newly formed in September 2008 and are a two form entry school, with extensive grounds, and have a morning only nursery school.
Although this school has been through some challenging times, they are passionate about children’s education and are determined to support every pupil in their care to thrive. They aim to provide a stimulating and meaningful education developing their pupils to become well-rounded individuals with a desire to learn and achieve. The school has high expectations of their staff and the pupils and are committed to raising standards and securing further improvements.

Pay: Paid to scale dependent on experience
Year Group: Year 6
The role:
Plan, Prep and deliver engaging lessons and resources designed around the needs of the class
Provide an inclusive, fun and safe environment for the children you teach
Support and potentially line manage the Teaching Assistants for your class, ensuirng they are delivering the support required to the pupils each day
Attend all staff meetings to ensure consistency in line with the school's vision and aims they are looking to achieve
Behaviour management
The candidate:
A contientious, dynamic and enthusiastic individual with a passion for education
Behaviour management experience
Confident in dealing with challenging behaviour and able to adapt lessons to be inclusive for all pupils individual needs
Ability to inspire pupils to gain the most out of their education every day
