The primary purpose of this role is to actively support staff in managing students with challenging behaviour, while upholding high standards and adhering to school routines. Responsibilities include supervising the seclusion room, including break and lunch times.
The successful candidate will provide support to students on issues such as behaviour, engagement, and attendance. Effective communication with pupils, staff, and parents is crucial for ensuring comprehensive pastoral support for all students. This role requires a confident and patient individual with competent behaviour management skills who can work collaboratively as part of a team. Previous experience working with young people facing barriers to learning will be advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
