Are you a Psychology Graduate looking to gain experience working with young people? This is a great opportunity to support your career progression in the psychology field, a great starting role to progress to an Educational or Child Psychologist, Counsellor or SEND Co-Ordinator.

I am recruiting for a school in Leeds who require a Teaching Assistant to join their SEN Department. The school have a progressive special educational needs department, with lots of opportunity for training and development.

This post will involve supporting students from aged 4years – 16 years, with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Speech and Communication needs, Behavioural-Emotional and Social difficulties.

The ideal candidate will have some experience supporting young people with special educational needs; however, the school will provide training and support for progression.

Contract Details:

  • Full time role (Monday – Friday).
  • Term time only – in line with the Leeds academic calendar.
  • Working hours 8:30am – 3:15pm
