Job Duties:

• Supporting classroom teachers in delivering lessons
• Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials
• Working with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Observing and recording student progress

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Psychology
• Previous experience working with children or young adults
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Psychology

Experience:

Experience working with children or young adults

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of psychological principles and theories
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Organisational and time management abilities
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced educational setting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Education or Psychology
• Experience in a teaching or tutoring role

Working Conditions:

This role is based in a school setting and may require working during school hours. The teaching assistant will work closely with teachers and students to support the learning process.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
