Job Duties:

  • Supporting the lead teacher in planning and delivering lessons
  • Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Providing one-on-one support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Helping to create a positive learning environment
  • Supporting students with emotional, social, and behavioural difficulties

Required Qualifications:

  • Psychology Graduate degree

Education:

  • Degree in Psychology or related field

Experience:

  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Knowledge of Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Familiarity with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2) curriculum

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification
