Job Duties:

  • Assist in delivering psychology lessons under the guidance of senior staff
  • Support students with learning difficulties or special educational needs
  • Conduct assessments and provide feedback on students' progress
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop tailored learning plans
  • Assist in maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Psychology
  • Previous experience working in an educational setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Psychology

Experience:

Previous experience in an educational setting is required

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of educational psychology principles
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
  • Good organisational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Educational Psychology
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs

Working Conditions:

This role is based in a school setting and may involve working with students with diverse needs. The position is part-time and temporary, with the expectation of working flexible hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
