Job Duties:

  • Assist in the delivery of educational programmes within a school setting
  • Support students with special educational needs and behavioural challenges
  • Conduct assessments and provide feedback to teachers and parents
  • Participate in meetings with educational professionals to discuss student progress
  • Contribute to the development of individual education plans
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate with a degree in Psychology
  • Enhanced DBS check on Update Service

Education:

  • Degree in Psychology or related field

Experience:

  • Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
  • Knowledge of behaviour management techniques

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of child development and learning theories
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Strong organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Additional training in special educational needs

Working Conditions:

  • Work within a school environment
  • Full-time hours on a temporary basis
  • Potential interaction with students with special educational needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
