Are you an enthusiastic psychology graduate with a passion for supporting young people with additional learning needs?
Protocol Education are working on behalf of a school in area to offer you the opportunity to support children with a variety of learning abilities in their education. We are seeking psychology graduates who are interested in pursuing a meaningful career in the education sector and looking to gain valuable experience working with SEN young people.
THE CANDIDATE
- Has a Bsc Degree in Psychology
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about supporting children with various abilities in a positive education environment
- Can demonstrate problem-solving skills when facing challenging situations
- Must have, or be willing to, undergo an enhanced DBS check
- Committed to ensuring the safeguarding of young people
THE ROLE
- Helping to maintain a safe, positive learning environment
- Assisting teachers in preparing lesson materials and school equipment
- Establishing trusting relationships with students and adapting teaching styles according to individual needs
- Working alongside colleagues to provide additional educational support in the classroom
