We at Protocol Education are looking for Teaching Assistants across Croydon. We are on the search for outstanding Teaching Assistants to work within our schools. Have you previously worked with or supported children within a professional environment? Or have you worked within care and are looking to transfer your skills to a classroom setting? Our schools are actively on the look out for teaching assistants to support their pupils so this is an opportunity not to be missed!

Ideal Candidates will:

  • Actively support the class teacher in delivering lessons/activities to aid pupil development
  • Have a positive approach towards supporting pupils
  • Use initiative to get involved constantly throughout the school day
  • Deal with challenging behaviour
  • Motivate and engage pupils to challenge themselves and develop
  • Affect the school day positively
  • Work with small groups or on a 1:1 basis
  • Support pupils with a variety of additional learning needs

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work with children and is passionate about supporting pupils with their health, well-being and learning.

What you require?

  • Enhanced Child workforce only DBS & on the update service (We can support in obtaining this)
  • Experience working within a school or with children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
