Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to primary school students in line with the national curriculum
  • Assess and record student progress, and provide feedback to parents and school management
  • Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Experience working with primary school students

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a primary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience with special educational needs (SEN) students

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a primary school setting, following the school calendar and timetable. The teacher may also be required to attend staff meetings and participate in school events.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
