Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and interactive lessons to primary school students
  • Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience teaching in a primary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN)

Working Conditions:

The role involves working in a primary school setting, following the school calendar and schedule. Regular interaction with students, colleagues, and parents is expected.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
