Primary Teacher Lewisham
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Primary Teacher to join our team in Lewisham, Greater London. This is a full-time contract position in the Education and Training industry, with a salary range of £150 - £160 per day on a PAYE basis.
Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students
- Assess and record students' progress to ensure effective learning outcomes
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding students' progress and behaviour
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and other school-related activities
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Enhanced DBS on Update Service
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Effective classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Additional training in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or English as a Second Language (ESL)
Working Conditions:
You will be working in a primary school environment, following the school calendar and timetable. The role may involve some additional responsibilities outside of normal school hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
