Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to primary school students in line with the National Curriculum
  • Assess and record students' progress, providing feedback to parents and colleagues where necessary
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support students' overall development
  • Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Experience working with primary school students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment methods
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Excellent classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs

Working Conditions:

  • Contract position with full-time hours
  • Work in a primary school setting in Lewisham, Greater London
  • Salary paid on a daily rate basis through PAYE
