Job Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons to primary school students in accordance with the national curriculum
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support where necessary
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student participation and engagement
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and development
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other school events as required
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Relevant degree in Education or related field
- Knowledge of the national curriculum and teaching standards
Education:
Degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Prior experience teaching in a primary school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of child development and learning theories
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
- Organisational skills and ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Experience with special educational needs (SEN) students
Working Conditions:
The role involves working in a primary school setting, collaborating with students, colleagues, and parents. Regular school hours with additional time required for planning, marking, and attending school events. The role may also involve participation in extracurricular activities and professional development opportunities.
