Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join our team in Greenwich, England. As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to primary school students in the Greater London area, specifically in Lewisham. This is a full-time contract position, with the expectation of working regular hours.

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the national curriculum
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students, parents, and other stakeholders
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student participation and achievement
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and development
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other school events as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service
  • Experience working as a Primary Teacher in a similar setting

Education:

A relevant degree in Education or a related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Primary Teacher

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Effective classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional training or certifications in specific subject areas
  • Experience working with special educational needs (SEN) students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
