Job Description:

Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and informative lessons to primary school students in Greenwich
  • Plan and prepare teaching materials in line with the national curriculum
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to promote learning and development
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student education and well-being

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching primary school students
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching primary school students

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of different teaching methods and strategies
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Strong classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position with regular school hours
  • Work primarily within a classroom setting
  • Collaborative work environment with other teaching staff and school management

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
